Fish for legendary striped bass on Norris Lake just minutes from the Woodlake Community and on nearby Cherokee Lake (just 25 miles away). Or stalk rainbow, brook, and brown trout in mountain rivers and streams in close proximity to our community or in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park just an hour away. Guided fishing packages are available through Woodlake Lodge, Golf & Country Club.
HIKING
Explore the mountains up close with a variety of hiking trails located throughout
East Tennessee. From easy strolls to strenuous treks, you'll find endless opportunities to take in the majestic scenery of the area on foot. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is located a short hour's drive from the Woodlake community, and Cumberland Gap National Historic Park is just a few minutes away.
